Doris Labat Leblanc

Doris LaBat LeBlanc entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Hanson LeBlanc, Sr. Daughter of the late Percy LaBat and Alice Labiche LaBat. Loving and devoted mother of Hanson Jr. (Mary), Donald (Marlene), Thomas (Marie) and Michael (Jeannie) LeBlanc and Gail Laviolette (Mabry). Sister of the late Aline Troxclair. Doris is survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and 2 expectant great great grandchildren. Doris was born in New Orleans, LA; raised in Brusley St. Martin, LA and resided in Westwego, LA for the past 57 years. She was a member of AARP Chapter 5037, Westwego Council on Aging, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 206 and VFW Post 6793 in Westwego. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11AM. Graveside services will be held at Brusley St. Martin Cemetery in Belle Rose, LA on Saturday at 2PM.
