Doris Toups Livingston

Doris Toups Livingston passed away on August 5, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Thomas H. Livingston. Mother of Cary Livingston (Judy), Ricky Livingston and Jo Ellen Livingston. Grandmother of Kristy Livingston and Eric Livingston (Allison). Sister of the late Ola Gegenheimer, Orin “Jimmy” Toups, Olden “GaGa” Toups and Hilton Toups. Beloved “sister” in law of Elaine Toups and Marceline Toups. Daughter of the late Olden J. Toups and Rosie Braud Toups. Also survived by her canine companion Mitzi, her grand-dogs along with many loving family members and friends.
Doris graduated from Gretna High School and later retired from the U.S. Postal Service, Gretna Station. She enjoyed playing poker-keeno with her friends, traveling the world, game nights and spending time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 6 PM to 9 PM, resuming on Monday from 8 AM to 11 AM.
