Doris Haas Lowe

Doris Haas Lowe born November 27, 1926, was called to heaven on July 27,2024 to meet with her beloved husband, Gerald John Lowe who was called to his eternal rest on May 10, 2012. She was 97 years of age. Doris was the loving mother of Jerry Ann Lowe Dellucky (Joseph), Gerald John Lowe Jr. (Brenda) and Marvin James Lowe. Doris is survived by 7 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandaughter; a brother Alvin F. Haas (Verline) and 2 sisters, Elaine Haas Eckel and Joan Haas Folse. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, John Harry Haas and Annette Verneuil Haas, 2 brothers: John Harry Haas Jr., & Russell F. Haas, 1 sister: Dolores Haas Gonzales.

Doris was a homemaker, loved caring for her children & grandchildren and was an excellent cook. Her favorite past time was researching family genealogy. She was a lifetime resident of Gretna in her home that was built by her beloved husband of 66 years.

Relatives and friends of the Family are invited to Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA 70058 on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at McDonogh Cemetery.
