Doris Cambre McMahon

Doris Cambre McMahon, age 87. Daughter of the late Justine Dugas Cambre and Elize Cambre, passed peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2011. She was an Algiers, LA resident for 64 years. She loved to dance, play cards and garden. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, John Howard McMahon, Sr., her beloved children John, Jr. (late wife Linda), Kenneth, Patricia, Susan (husband Rick), Michael (wife Teri) and six grandchildren; Michelle Tarifa, Rachael Shirley, Ryan Adams, Brooke Adams, Kourtney Larkin, Chris Taylor, four great grandchildren; Madison, Alex, Elizabeth and Peyton. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, October 28,2011 at 1PM. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 6 PM until 10 PM and resume Friday from 10 AM until funeral time. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
