Doris Curren Vallette passed away on November 10, 2011. Beloved wife of Connell J. Vallette, Sr. for 66 years. Mother of Connell J. Vallette, Jr. (wife, Cookie), Amy Gulotta-Rogers (husband, Gary), Sewall G. Vallette (wife, Claudelle), and the late Paul Ross Vallette. Grandmother of Brice and Nathan Vallette, Jeffrey and Michael Gulotta, and Amelia and Christian Vallette. Great-grandmother of Samantha, Liam, and Ethan. Sister of Harriet Lawrence and the late Mary Alice Alford. Daughter of the late Inez Clement Curren Lange and Raymond F. Curren. She was 89 years of age and a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Relatives, friends and members of the former Buena Vista Garden Society are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Algiers on Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
