Doris "Dot" Warino

Doris "Dot" Warino was born on November 15,1932 and entered into a peaceful death on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish and left behind her beloved Chihuahua "Tiny" whom she adored. Doris enjoyed baking decorative cakes and various crafting projects. She will be best remembered for her love of fishing and famous Italian cookies. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Angelo S. Warino; parents, George Meladine and Sophia Ross Meladine; brother, Raymond Meladine Sr. and sister, Rose Warino. Doris was a loving mother to Peggy W. Wattigney, Susan W. Kelley, Carol W. Cotton and Kenneth A. Warino. She is survived by many grand children and great grand children. The family would like to extend a special thanks to River Regions Hospice and Dependable Home Care for their help and kindness.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
