Dorothy Dazet

Dorothy Rodriguez Dazet passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Everard P. Dazet, Sr. Daughter of the late William A. Rodriguez and Stella Hingle Rodriguez. Mother of William A. Dazet (Wife Carey), Dorothy Blakley (Husband James), Alicia Fortenberry (Husband George) and the late Everard P. Dazet, Jr.(Survived former wife, Jackie). Sister of the late John Rodriguez, Nita Edwards and Dora Borne. Survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Dorothy was born in Buras, LA and resided in Broussard, LA. She was very active in Our Lady of Good Harbor Catholic Church in Buras, LA. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society of Our Lady of Good Harbor Catholic Church and a member of Delta Amiee Hobby Club. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 7AM until 9AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9AM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Good Harbor Cemetery, Buras, LA.
