Dorothy P. Holmes

Dorothy P. Holmes, age 82, and a resident of Marrero, LA , peacefully passed away at her home on October 28, 2012. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Delaney D. Holmes, Jr. and her sons Richard Holmes and Delaney D. Holmes, III. She is survived by her children, Gayle E. Richards (Chicago), Kevin Holmes, Denise Whitehead (Chicago), Donna Holmes (Marrietta, GA), JoAnn Holmes and Lisa R. Holmes (Dolton, IL). She was the proud and beloved MawMaw to her grandchildren Wade Tyler, Demea Scott (Bolingbrook, IL), Nichole Richards (Chicago), Damon Holmes (Chicago), Nadia Kanable (Florida), Kevin Porter, Danielle Walker (Lansing, IL), Crystal Walker (Chicago), Bjorn and Jonathan Hermansen (Marrietta, GA), Gabriel Renteria (Dolton, IL) and 15 great grandchildren. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Funeral, Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 11 AM at the Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2400 Delachaise St., New Orleans, LA.
