Dorothy Martin Keogh, a resident of Algiers, LA since 1938 has passed away peacefully into Eternal Rest on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the age of 94. Born February 26, 1920 in Plaquemine, LA to the late Annie Devellier & Kenneth Martin. Devoted wife of the late George Keogh Jr. Beloved mother of Kathy Hutchins (LeeRoy) of Hattiesburg, MS, Dennis Keogh (Margaret) of Avondale, LA and Patricia Keogh of Algiers, LA. Sister of the late Raymond J. Martin of Kentwood, LA and Jennie Hughes of Carriere, MS. Also survived by five grandchildren: Allan & Scott Erwin, Carrie K. Daigle (Chad), Dustin Keogh and the late Todd Michael Keogh, four great grand children; Hailey Faucheaux, Hayden & Chandler Daigle and Braxton Cole Erwin. A host of nieces and nephews. Her strong faith in God helped her survive many challenges in her life time. She was the family matriarch & will sadly be missed by all those whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside services at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Avenue in Gretna on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 1 PM.
