Dorothy Lachmann Legardeur

Dorothy Lachmann Ray LeGardeur passed away on February 15, 2015 at the age of 74 years. Mother of Marcus O. Ray Sr. and Kami Schexnayder. Grandmother of Jeremy, April, Brandie, Candise and Marcus Jr. Great-grandmother of Jason Jr., Tristen, Akira, Grace, Connor, Jaslynn and Beaux. Sister of Thelma Brass, Shirley Lachmann, Arnold Lachmann, the late Phyllis Bernard, Adolph Otto Lachmann and Adolph Ignatius Lachmann. Daughter of the late Phyllis Bieber Lachmann and Adolph O. Lachmann. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was a talented dancer and loved to golf and bowl at Expressway and Mid City Lanes. She loved to stay “on the go” and loved to be around her friends and family. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. Prayers will follow.
