Dorothy Trosclair Legendre

Dorothy Trosclair Legendre passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Adley J. Legendre. Daughter of the late Valcour and Ella Trosclair. Mother of Terry J. Legendre (Wife Eleanor), Cheryl Ann Legendre Dufrene (Husband Daniel) and Cheryl Lee Legendre Rojas (Husband Johnny). Grandmother to her only grandchild, Todd LeGlue. Sister of Wilver Trosclair, Raymond Trosclair, Audrey Morvant, Thelma Morvant, Betty Joyce Clement and the late Raines Adams. Dorothy was born in Chackbay, LA and resided in Marrero, LA for the past 61 years. She retired as a Nurse’s Aide with West Jefferson Medical Center after serving 32 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Chackbay, LA on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 8AM until 10AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church on Friday at 10AM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church Cemetery, Chackbay, LA.
