Dorothy "Lou" Costlow Barney

Dorothy “Lou” Costlow Barney passed away on February 27, 2014 at the age of 65 years. Beloved wife of Ronald Barney. Mother of Shelby J. Lavergne, Jr., Kenneth D. Lavergne, Michelle F. Bobb Chartier (Jeffery), Dennis P. Barney (Patricia) and Thomas M. Barney (Brandi). Grandmother of Alley, Makayla, Kami, Cameron, Brennon, Kristin, Gavin, Jordan, Kain, Lainey, Katie, Jill, Ronnie, Ellen, Michael, Brandon, Victoria and Brittany. Great-grandmother of Chloe, Bentlei, Heaven and Zay. Sister of Frances Costlow, Winford “Buddy” Costlow Jr. (Nancy) and Cherri Costlow Jackson (Rick). Daughter of the late Winford and Irene Costlow, Sr. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
Lou retired as a 9-1-1- Dispatcher with the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office and was a faithful member of River of Life Fellowship in Port Sulphur.
