Dorothea (Dory) Ann Nicholas, a Registered Nurse for 32 years passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the age of 61. Former wife of Michael A. Aguado. Mother of Michael D. Aguado and Joe V. Hayes. Daughter of Anna D. Newlin and the late L.M. Nicholas. Sister of Batchy Hasty Nicholas, Steven Bernard Nicholas and the late Jacqueline Nicholas Goris and John Duncan Nicholas. Grandmother to Chloe Rose Hayes. Aunt of Chris, Jonathan, Jennifer, Stefan, Dale, Cameron and Anna. Dory was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Diamondhead, MS. Visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 11:30AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
