Douglas Dudley Chauvin on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Mancy Iona Field Chauvin. Loving father of Steve Chauvin (Barbara) and Carlos “Corky” Chauvin (Christine). Brother of Enola Chauvin, Shirley Alesich, Ella Mae Machella, the late Russell, Jerry and Melvin Chauvin. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Son of the late Enola Dufrene and Leon Chauvin. Age, 77 years. A native of Paradis, LA and a lifelong resident of lower Plaquemines Parish.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 9 AM until 1:30 PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 PM. Interment will be private.
