Douglas P. “Doug” Corona passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the age of 45. Beloved father of Megan Corona. Brother of Louis Corona, Jr. (Wife Barbara) and Stephen Corona. Former husband of Wendy Corona Roberts. Son of the late Louis Corona, Sr. and Myrle Wattigney Corona. Uncle of Melissa Gisi (Husband John), Don Corona (Wife Barrett) and Nicholas Corona. Doug was born in Algiers, LA and was a resident of Loranger, LA. Relatives and friends, also employees of LA Department of Transportation are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 9AM until 11AM.
