Duane Ragas

Duane Ragas, age 46 entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 19, 2014. Beloved son of Benjamin Anthony Ragas and the late Gail Ragas. Loving and devoted father of Duane Clark, Ashley Maness, John Maness and Tierany Ragas. Loving grandfather of Hayden Tybussek. Loving brother of Timmy Ragas, Michael Ragas, Bridget Ragas, Gail Ragas, Shane Ragas and the late Larry Ragas. Duane is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish and a longtime commercial fisherman. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the family to help with funeral expenses. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 6PM until 11PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, April 25, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Highway 23, Port Sulphur, LA from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Port Sulphur on Friday at 11AM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Good Harbor Cemetery, Buras, LA.
