Dustin Joseph Dugas

Dustin Joseph Dugas passed away on August 9, 2017 at his home in Belle Chasse, LA. He was 42 years of age. Devoted brother of Anthony P. Dugas (Angela), Lisa Dillehay and Suzanne McCarthy (Jonathan). Beloved son of Elaine Maggio Dugas and the late Ronnie J. Dugas. Loving uncle to Ronnie Paul and Kirstin Louise Dugas, Amanda Ennis, Logan and Gryphon McCarthy and the late Brittany Escobar. Great-uncle of Jude Simoneaux, Aurora Escobar and Stella Kael. Nephew of Susan and Daniel Gautreaux and Victoria and Hubert Cavalier. Cousin of Corey and Lacey Gautreaux, Missy and Todd Guillot and Renee and Ronnie Mabile. Grandson of the late Hanson and Margie Dugas and Alfonso and Bessie Ruscetski.

Dustin graduated from Holy Cross High School and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a longtime federal employee of NAS JRB New Orleans. He was the proud Parrain of Ronnie Paul. Dustin was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He will be sadly missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 9 AM until 11 AM. Memorial Services will follow.
