Earl A. Adams Jr. was born in New Orleans on June 26, 1932 and went onto eternal rest on July 3, 2024. He lived in Harvey, LA.
He attended Xavier University Preparatory. A retired United States Postal worker, he also served as a Sergeant in the Army Reserve. For nearly 30 years, he humbly served the lord as an elder at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church. He provided guidance, love, and laughter to all those around him. He will be greatly missed.
Earl is preceded in death by his wife Ernestine “Tina” Lobrano Adams for whom he was happily married for decades, his son Robert Casbon, his parents Earl Sr and Hilda Robinson Adams and his sister Gloria Adams.
He is survived by his children Stephen Adams, Earl Adams III (Kim), Pamela Adams, Tina Gonzalez and Alphonso, Gerard, Traniece, Robinieshia Casbon, his grandchildren Angelica Gonzalez, Robert Hudson Jr, Linda and Raquel Richardson, Trinity and Montay Brothers and Jaylin ,Dasien ,Landon, Carla and Robert Casbon, 2 grandchildren, Alexandra Lewis and Kristi Andrew, and 12 Great grandchildren; his cousin Clarence Hall Jr, his great nieces Linda Adams McCullough and Tory Givens, and his godchild Samuel Simoneaux and many others.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11th at Christ Our Savoir Church, 3150 Destrehan Ave, Harvey, LA from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
