Earl "Harry" Gabriel Lewis

Earl “Harry” Gabriel Lewis passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Judith “Judy” Mince Lewis and father/grandfather to Alyssa Mince. Father of Monica Lewis Ebanks and Lonnie Clements. Step-father of Stacie Mince, Charles “Chuck” Mince, Josie Mince Sandifer, Esther “Farah” Mince, Alton “Sweet Pea” Mince and the late William “Billy” Mince. Grandfather of Felicia, Jaymie, Galen, B.J., Jakelinn, Da’Jon, Gabriel, Connor, Ryan, Brian, Malaina, Chaz, Brianna, Haley, Jimmy, Colby, Kyran, Lexi, Luke, Faith and the late Deven. Great-grandfather of Na’Viyah, Jordyn, Loyal, Aaliyah and Genesis. Brother of Geraldine Corne, Diana Lewis, Shedran Lewis Roth, Darrel Lewis, Timmy Lewis, the late Ronald “Ronnie” Lewis and Tammy “Bootsy” Lewis Camardelle. Son of the late Bertha Doucet Lewis and Earl John Lewis. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Earl served his country in the U.S. Army as a Vietnam War veteran and earned, among other citations, the Combat Infantryman Badge. He later worked and retired as a skilled butcher for area grocery stores. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 11 AM.
