Earl Joseph "J-Boy" Gisclair Sr.

Earl Joseph “J-Boy” Gisclair Sr. passed away on February 10, 2016 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Pamella Chauvin Gisclair. Father of Tammy Gutierrez (Hector Sr), Earl J. Gisclair Jr. (Donna) and Troy A. Gisclair Sr. (Denise). Brother of Walter Gisclair, Carolyn G. Estay, Dorothy G. Santini, Geraldine G. Comardelle, Janet G. Boudreaux, Judy G. Prewitt, Cynthia G. Trinks and the late Stella G. Prejeant. Son of the late Sidney W. Gisclair and Edith Domangue Gisclair. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great-granddaughters along with many loving family members and friends.
J-Boy was a resident of River Ridge, LA, formerly of Avondale, LA and retired from Avondale Shipyard in 2002. He was an avid fan of L.S.U. sports. Donations in his loving memory may be made to the American Cancer Society ( www.cancer.org ).
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel.
