Earl "Unk" Slocum

Earl J. "Unk" Slocum passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Lucy DiMarco Slocum for 60 loving years. Father of Donna Campagne (Randy, Sr.), Salvador "Sam" DiMarco, and Ricky "Pal" DiMarco (Jill). Son of the late Nellie and George Slocum. Brother of Malvina Rodriguez, Mary Vanderford, Betty Breaux, Melanie Tierney, and the late Merle Hughes, Charles Slocum, John Slocum, George Slocum Jr., and Anthony Slocum. Brother-in-law of Theresa "Terry" Schiro, Joseph "Pampy" DiMarco, Mary Olivero, and the late Josephine and Marie DiMarco, Salvador "Sonny" DiMarco, Frank and Steve DiMarco. Grandfather of Randy "Booka" Campagne, Jr., Christopher Campagne, Kalli "Humbug" DiMarco, and Samantha DiMarco. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA for 60 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Knights of Columbus Immaculata Council No. 4222 and members of Local 60 Pipefitters are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6pm until 10pm and on Wednesday morning from 9am until 11am.
