Earlin Lester Griffin, Jr. passed away on Friday, January 4, 2013 at the age of 68. Beloved father of Gregory L. Griffin (Angela), Douglas M. Griffin (Martha), and Enid E. Rowe (Daniel). Son of Earlin L. Griffin and the late Irmalee McMahon Griffin. Brother of Rebecca A. Grunewald (George) and Bonnie T. Griffin. Grandfather of Maverick, Tyr, Ashlyn, Ryan and Garrett Griffin and Eleanor, Madeleine, and Alexander Rowe. Former husband of Corliss Hoffman Griffin. Earlin was a member of the DeLaSalle Sports Hall of Fame, a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a member of the Chess Academy of New Orleans, LA, and a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a religious service at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment in McDonogh Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be Saturday from 9AM until funeral time.
