Eartha "Kitty" Carter

Eartha Lee “Kitty” Carter entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at her home at the age of 81. She is the beloved wife of 68 years to the late Willie J. Carter. She leaves to mourn, one daughter, Thelma Carter; 1 devoted and loving grandson, Blayne (Brittany) Luke; 1 sister, Irma Tross and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Freddy and Mary Dennis; 1 brother, Freddy, Jr.; 1 sister, Dorothy Norris. She was born in Houma, LA and resided in Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, Officers and Members of Morning Star Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are welcome to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 12 Noon until 1:30PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
