Eddie “Rabbit” Collins, Jr. a fisherman and master boat builder, age 71 passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 5PM. Husband of 50 years to Sharon Carmadelle Collins. Father of Hedy Collins Theriot (Jim) and Shannon Collins (Colleen)’. Son of the late Eddie Collins, Sr. and Mildred Rojas Collins. Grandfather of Jenny, Jim Jr., Caitlyn, Chelsea and Lauren. Great Grandfather of Ethan and Jacob. Brother of Jacqueline Comeaux, Ruby Landry and the late Leitha Erlinger. Eddie was a lifelong resident of Lafitte, LA. Visitation will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Lafitte, LA on Monday, June 24, 2013 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 1PM. Interment will be in St. Pius Mausoleum, Crown Point.
