Edith Guillot Reaves

Edith Guillot Reaves, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on November 18, 2015 at the age of 91. A current resident of Gretna, Edith was born on August 30, 1924 in New Orleans, LA. She was a longtime resident of Algiers where she raised her four children. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Anthony Guillot and Alice Huguet Guillot; her only daughter, Sondra Reaves Bradley and her oldest son, Robert Malcolm Reaves Jr. She will be greatly missed by her surviving sons, Michael Ford Reaves (Jody) and Toni Renn Reaves (Carol) along with her ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Services to celebrate Edith’s wonderful life will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, LA on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 1 PM. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
