Edith "De" Orgeron Terrebonne, a native of Larose, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Evest J. Terrebonne. Loving mother of Wayne J. Terrebonne (Ondine), the late Mona Terrebonne Serio (Louis), the late Leonard “Lenny” P. Terrebonne (the late Reenie) and Ada Terrebonne Churchwell (Brian). Grandmother of Amanda Terrebonne and Camille Churchwell. Sister of Rhea Roth, Dorothy “Dot” Trosclair, Clara Engvall Trupiano, the late Irene Falgout, Mabel Orgeron, Edmond Orgeron, Jr., Edwin Orgeron, Raymond Orgeron, Ida Hebert, Clarence “Bud” Orgeron and Delores “Chuckie” Hebert. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Daughter of the late Ada LeBlanc and Edmond J. Orgeron, Sr.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11 AM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. The family wishes to specially thank Jackie Trosclair, Sue Pontiff, Claudia Gassenberger, and Rosalind Lewis for their care and compassion, and Concerned Care Hospice. Parlors will be open Monday from 9 AM until 11 AM.
