Edmond Paul LaRose

Edmond Paul LaRose, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Hazel Lucille Breaux LaRose. Son of the late Vital LaRose, Sr. and Marguerite LaRose. Father of Edmond Paul LaRose, Jr., Barry James LaRose, Cynthia LaRose Schieffler, Clifton LaRose and Ricky Joseph LaRose. Grandfather of Michael Edmond Carter and Stacie Schieffler Celino (Husband Jason). Great Grandfather of Jaycie Rose Celino and Brody Joseph Celino. Brother of Irene Stafford (Husband Rudy) and the late Clifton LaRose, Alvin LaRose, Vital Larose, Jr., Norris LaRose and Cora Guillot. Edmond is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. An avid fisherman and outdoorsman, Edmond was also a lifetime baseball enthusiast. He loved to tell stories about his playing days when he barnstormed with some great Lockport teams as a young man. He served in World War II while serving in the United States Army. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from 9AM until 11:30AM. Visitation will resume at Holy Savior Catholic Church, 201 Church St, Lockport, LA on Tuesday from 1PM until 2PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the church on Tuesday at 2PM.
