Edward A. "Eddie" Blanchard

Edward A. Blanchard passed away on January 27, 2014 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Addie Wood Blanchard. Father of James E. Blanchard (Shelly), Debbie B. LeBlanc (Tracy Parria) and Dana B. Ledet (Brock). Grandfather of Brandon and Kaitlyn. Brother of Gladys Sansoni, Shirley Molliere (the late Joseph), and the late Florence Naquin (Hubert), Huey Blanchard (Betty), RoseMae Sansoni (Jarysch), Golden Totora (Joseph), Marie “Teen” Naquin (Eugene) and Dorothy Himel (Oscar). Son of the late Glaspa Blanchard and Faustine Hebert Blanchard. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Blanchard retired as a self employed oil field truck owner leased to Acme Truck Line.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 8 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Burial will take place in the Wood Cemetery, Tylertown, MS for 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to defray the medical expenses of 5-year old Cooper Faucheux at any Regions Bank, in his account: “For the benefit of Cooper Faucheux”.
