Edward Bush

Edward Bush passed away on December 7, 2013 at the age of 85 years. He is a native of Utila, Honduras, C.A. and came to the United States in 1974 and resided in Harvey, LA.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Olive Nelita Miller Bush; children, Martin Bush, Karry Kay Bush Johnson (husband Elmo) and Doris Lavern Bush; grandchildren, Blair, Sharlene, Tiffany, Jessica and Jed along with eight great-grandchildren and many nieces nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lettie Morgan Bush and Owen Bush; brothers, Owen Bowditch and Terrance Bush and sister, Nanette Bush Castillo.
In his younger days, Edward worked as a merchant seaman and later retired from construction. He spent much of his time admiring his vegetable and papaya garden and also enjoyed frying pig skins or cracklings, a version of “chicharon”. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
