Edward H. Gabler, Jr.

Edward "Bodie" Henry Gabler, Jr., age 67, passed away peacefully at his sister's home on Aug. 4, 2015, surrounded by his loved ones. Bodie was a Vietnam veteran, and a retired insulator and business owner. Bodie loved the outdoors, including bow hunting, fishing, and watching drag races.
Bodie will be greatly missed by his surviving children, Kurtis Gabler, Sr., and Candice Gabler, along with 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his children Edward M. Gabler, Sr., and Shelley Gabler Delaune, his sister Lori Powell, and parents Flossie "Flo" Gabler and Edward "Bunny" Gabler.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA 70058, on Sat. Aug. 8, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 9AM until Funeral Time. A graveside service will be held at 4PM at Pine Community Cemetery, 27098 Highway 62, Pine, LA 70438.
