Edward Cheltenham Yeargin

Edward Cheltenham Yeargin passed away on November 17, 2011 at the age of 78. Son of the late Andy J. Yeargin and Valentine C. Yeargin. A native of Birmingham, AL and a resident for 70 years of New Orleans and Jefferson. Preceded in death by his sister Valentine Y. Dauenhauer, infant brother Norman Yeargin, daughter Dana Y. Greenwald Roberts, and aunt Ann E. Cheltenham. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia Hill Yeargin, sister Ann Y. Maechling, sons Edward Carl, Andy Jerome II, and David Norman Yeargin, and daughter Cynthia Y. Freeney Fernandez. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sons and daughters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was a radar and electronics technician gifted in servicing anything electrical. He will be remembered for his eclectic interest, knowledge, and humor. Services and interment were private. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME in charge of arrangements.
