Edwin Joseph "E.J." Melling,, Jr.

Edwin Joseph “E.J.” Melling Jr. passed away on November 20, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Loving father of Stacy A. Melling. Grandfather of Christopher Dean Cruse (Cassie) and Todd Joseph “T.J.” Cruse. Great-grandfather of Caitlin, JaCoby and Hailey. Son of the late Ava Maser Melling and Edwin Joseph Melling Sr. Brother of the late Dorothy Melling Madison and Shirley Melling Perrien. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
After graduating from Holy Name of Mary High School where he was known for his athletic achievements, he served his country in the U.S. Navy and later retired from the Missouri-Pacific Railroad. He loved his horses and could often be found at his stables in Bridge City. He was fond of animals and had many pets over the years. He will be sadly missed.
