Edwin J. Shackelford

Edwin J. “Kid” “Judge” Shackelford passed away on December 26, 2011. Beloved husband of Peggy Barrois Shackelford. Father of Lanny J. Shackelford (wife Carrie), Shelley S. Roberts (husband Mark) and Steven E. Shackelford (wife Kellie). Grandfather of Spencer and Kaci, Quinn, Barrick, Trace and Caleb, Seth and Jenna. Brother of Etta S. Loverde, Alice S. Rousse, the late Earl “Bubba” Shackelford and Grover Cleveland “Nooker” Shackelford. He was 85 years of age, a native and longtime resident of Buras, LA and since 2005, of Abita Springs, LA. Relatives, friends and members of American Legion Post No. 193 (Buras, LA) and V.F.W. Post No. 6402 (Port Sulphur, LA) are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 11 AM to 1 PM.
