Effie Veazey Pontiff

Effie Veazey Pontiff, age 84 years, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 in Marrero, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents Otto Veazey and Olive Broussard Veazey and brother Walter J. Veazey. Survivors include her sister Shirley V. Toner, nieces Laura Anderson (Robert), Cynthia Ocmand (Gillespie), Kathleen Peltier (Daryl), Lawrence Toner, Jr. (Kim), and numerous great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews. She enjoyed bowling for many years at Expressway Lanes. Effie was a former employee of Capdeboscq Catering. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 11AM.
