Elaine Lapeyronnie Centanni

Elaine Lapeyronnie Centanni., age 90, a lifelong Gretna resident died on March 9, 2013. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Lewis Ross Centanni, Sr. Loving mother of Mary Louise Centanni Melancon and husband, Edward, and Lewis Ross Centanni, Jr., and wife, Peggy. Grandmother of Paul Centanni and wife, Gayle, Jennifer Melancon Vicknair and husband, Christopher, Michelle Centanni Combs and husband Christopher, and Stephen Melancon. Great-grandmother of Kristen Vicknair, Kaylee Combs, Jackson Vicknair, Elizabeth Centanni, Lyla Combs, Sofia Centanni, Matthew Combs, William Combs, and Katherine Centanni. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Roy August Lapeyronnie and the late Eva Bruce Lapeyronnie. Sister of Marilyn Lapeyronnie Blanchard and the late Roy Louis Lapeyronnie, Sr. She was a parishioner of St. Rosalie Church, a graduate of Louisiana State University, and a retired employee of the Jefferson Parish School System.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday, March 15, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Interment will follow services in Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
