Elaine Turner Schneider went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the age of 67 years. Beloved wife of David Schneider. Mother of Dawn Buras, and Kim Lester (Harris). Daughter of Marie Olsen Brechtel and the late James Buford Turner. Sister of Barbara Calstell and step sister of Vincent Brechtel. Grandmother of Courtney Buras, Gabrielle Levy and Hannah Lester. Also survived by nieces and nephews. She was a retired bartender, a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA for the past 25 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 1pm.
