Elizabeth Marie Cheramie

Elizabeth Marie Cheramie, a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the age of 17 years. Beloved daughter of Brandy Rodgers Cheramie and Anthony Lee Cheramie. Beloved Step daughter of Sandra B. Cheramie. Granddaughter of Leonard O. Rodgers, Patsy T. Rodgers, Iralee Cheramie and the late Carroll C. Cheramie. Loving sister of Victoria Lee and Clark Anthony LeBlanc, Rebecca Lynn Cheramie, Brianna Eliza and Tyler James Estelle, Anthony Lee Cheramie, Jr. and the late Anthony Lee Tsilianos. Niece of the late Virgie Kentzel, Rena Rodgers, and Carroll C. LaJaunie. Also survived by her special caregiver, her “second mom”, Martha Lee, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Elizabeth was active in many organizations including the SBGNO, March of Dimes, Estelle Elementary and Higgins High. She also was affiliated with Maxima Group Behavioral Services and Always TLC.
Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the above named organizations, are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 6 PM until 10 PM and again Friday, December 5, 2014 from 9 AM until 1:30 PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 PM. Interment will be private. Special Thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Children’s Hospital for their dedication, care and compassion through the years. Elizabeth loved Disney World and everything Disney. The family specially requests that those who attend the funeral wear Disney Themed Attire. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray funeral costs.
