Elizabeth “Liz” Farmer Coons April 12, 1951 Wife of Richard Coons, Mother of Bambi Ford, Tanya Tunstall, Irene Holtzman, Kathy Apol, Laurie Kelley, and Donald Coons. Mother-in-law of Daniel Ford Jr, Lonnie Tunstall, John Holtzman, Jeff Apol, and Jimmy Kelley. Grandmother of Krista, David, Samantha, Jamie, Stephanie, Jennifer, Katiana, Daniel III, Victoria, John, Malique, Malikai, and Richard. Also survived by 6 great-grandchildren. Sister of Maxine Boone, Kathy Davis, Daniel Farmer, Joe Verrett and the late David Farmer. Sister-in-Law of Jerry Boone, Sandi Brinker, Yvette Farmer, and Lavonne Verrett. Daughter of the late Grace Cline Verrett and Leon Farmer. A loving Aunt to a host of nieces and nephews. She entered the Gates of Heaven on May 4, 2011, she was surrounded by the love of her family and the staff of the TATU unit at Tulane hospital. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway; Harvey, LA on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 11 AM to 3 PM.
