Elizabeth Francine White

Elizabeth Francine White passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved and loving wife of 19 years to William “Bill” White, III. Mother of Ronald (Ronnie) DeJong and Scott DeJong (Wife Melanie). Grandmother of Cameron DeJong. Sister of Kathy Rogers (Husband Mike). Preceded in death by her parents, the late Clinton C. Eaves and Frances Eaves; her sister, Rosie Eaves Fraser and her first husband, Robert H. DeJong, Jr. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. She was a longtime resident of Marrero, LA. She retired from Jefferson Parish Clerk of Court; she was an accomplished musician and she sang in the New Orleans Symphony Chorus. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 12PM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Hook and Ladder Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Information: 504-366-4343.
