Ella Chauvin Machella

Ella Chauvin Machella passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late John “Pecan” Machella and the late Irvin “Skip” Brunet. Mother of Dawn Pelas (Jeff). Grandmother of Morgan Pelas Stein (Jase) and Hunter Pelas. Great-grandmother of Harlow Stein. Sister of the late Russell Chauvin, Douglas Chauvin, Shirley Alesich, and Enola Stewart. Daughter of the late Leon Chauvin and Enola Dufrene Chauvin. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna, LA.
