Ellay Dupre Melanson passed away on Good Friday, April 3, 2015 at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Albert J. Melanson. Mother of Peggy M. Pellegrin (Ken) and Bobby J. Melanson (Ruth). Grandmother of Dana, Jace, B.J., Nick and Patrick. Great-grandmother of Caleb, Karina and Kali. Sister of Faye Saucier, Alvin, Easton, Junius, Easily and Eli Dupre. Daughter of the late Alphonse and Cecilia Theriot Dupre.
Ellay worked many years ago at the former Pennican-Ford manufacturing and was very devoted to the love and care of her family. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 10 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow.
