Survived by his wife Joyce Repka Bealer. Son of the late Ellis Louis Bealer, Sr. and the late Sadie Falgoust Bealer. Brother of Ronald D. Bealer. Father of Sheila R. Lane, Ellis M. Bealer, Susan R. Allo, and Sharon R. Heausler. Grandfather of Chasity, Palmer, MacKenzie, Grace, Hailey, Brett, Blain, Courtney, Caiden and our beloved angel Savannah . Retired from the Gretna Police Department after 25 years of service. Ellis was a member of Gould Fire Department, a graduate of West Jefferson High School in 1960. He served in the United States Navy for six years and Navy Reserve for two years on the S.S. Independence Aircraft carrier. He was employed by Superior Iron Works for seven years, Misco United Supply Co. for 14 years and in the oil field for 20 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 1 PM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10 AM until funeral time.
