Elmo Paul Miller, Jr. peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the age of 77 years old. He is preceded in death by his parents Archangel Millet Macaluso and Elmo Paul Miller, Sr. Beloved husband of Gwendolyn Landeche Miller. Devoted and loving father of Mark (Linda) , Sandra Miller Donewar (Jody), Chris (Suzanne), and Kirk (Dawn). Grandfather of Melissa Miller Thomas (Andy), Brandon Donewar (Cortney), Maci Miller, Kortney Miller, Hanna Miller, Korey Miller, Alyssa Calamusa and Bethany Calamusa. Great-Grandfather of Ellie Thomas and Brody Donewar. A lifelong resident of Gretna, LA., and member of the Knights of Columbus. Relatives and friends of the family and employees of Gretna Bingo Palace, Jefferson Parish Finance Department and Republic Supply are invited to attend the visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA., on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 10am until 1pm. The Funeral Mass will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gretna, LA. at 1:30pm. Interment to follow at Hook and Ladder Cemetery in Gretna, LA.
