Elna Hansen Beck passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Jessie Paul Beck. Loving mother of Jan Beck-Arabie (the late Ralph), and Joe Beck (Maria). Grandmother of Casey Christiana Guidry (Chase), Billy Ready (Mandy), Michele Beck Wolfe (Brian), Ryan Beck, and Brittany Beck Parkerson (Brad). Also survived by 7 great grandchildren, a host of family and friends. Daughter of the late Laurette Jessen and Heinrich C. Hansen. Age, 87 years. A native of Flensburg, Germany and a resident of Gretna, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment, McDonoghville Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open Monday from 9 AM until 11 AM. The family wishes to specially thank Robert Early, Sr. for his love and support, also to Wynhoven Healthcare, Dr. Charles Simonson and Heart of Hospice for their excellent care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Activity Department of Wynhoven Nursing Home, Marrero, LA.
