Eloise Jones Cascio

Eloise Jones Cascio, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the age of 86 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Joseph P. Cascio; parents, Bert H. Jones and Maggie H. McCreary; siblings, Levenia J. VanHorn, Buford Jones and Jimmy Ray Jones. She is loving mother of Cynthia Cascio Burmaster (Dennis), Jo Ann Cascio Bascle (Albert), Andrea Cascio Lozano (Rocky) and Karey A. Cascio. She is devoted grandmother of Tia Burmaster, Dennis Burmaster Jr, Alicia Lozano Autin, Joshua Bascle (Heather), Shawna Burmaster Cheatwood ( Danny), Jenna Bascle Plaisance ( Kerry) and Marisa Lozano Bergeron ( Frank). She is great grandmother of Mary Cate Klein, Riley Autin, London Creppel, Kale Plaisance, Raelyn Bascle, Avery Tibodeaux, Zoey Cheatwood and Olivia Bergeron. She is loving sister of Betty Nell Claar She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other family and friends. Born in Seminole, Oklahoma, Eloise was a longtime resident of Belle Chasse before retiring to Tylertown, Mississippi. Eloise, affectionally known as “Boopie”, loved to sew, crochet, go camping and spend time with her family. Above all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and loyal friend who will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 10:00AM until 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Alzheimer’s Association. or charity of one’s choice.
