Elzie Lee Shook

Elzie Lee Shook passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 13 years to Norma Donahue Shook. Son of the late James Wesley Shook and Flora Mae Shook. Father of Kenneth Shook (Wife Brenda), Patricia Menard (Husband A.J.) and the late Sheryl Cali (Survived by husband, Jack). Step Father of Cheryl Ray (Husband Phil) and Bill Donahue (Wife Connie). Grandfather of Scott Shook, Kenny Shook, Jennifer Cali, Jessica Cali Borne, Ashlyn Cali and Chris Menard. Also survived by 5 step grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Brother of Jack and the late Odell, Jim, Gladys, Flossie and Lavonne. Mr. Shook was born in Tulsa, OK and was a resident of Harvey, LA for the past 13 years. He served 10 years in the United States Navy and is a retired Iron Worker with Local 58. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 10AM until 1PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1PM. Interment will be held at Westlawn South Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
