Emily Marie Murray Boudreaux

Emily Marie Marse Boudreaux, born in Vacherie, LA entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Norman Joseph Boudreaux. Daughter of the late Abel Marse and Stella Murray Marse. Mother of Charlene Ann Boudreaux (Life Partner Patsy Shannon) and the late Kenneth Philip Boudreaux (Survived by wife Peggy). Grandmother of Kenneth P. Boudreaux, Jr. (Wife Carrie), Kevin J. Boudreaux, Sr. (Wife Rhonda) and Alicia B. Ritter (Husband Todd). Sister of Clarence Marse (Wife Mary Ann) and the late Norman Marse (Survived by wife Betty), Nolan Marse (Wife the late Carol), Thelma Vicknair (Husband the late Harry) and Jeanette Cambre (Survived by husband Eddie). Emily is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Emily was a lifelong resident of Harvey, LA. She was a parishioner of St. Rosalie Catholic Church in Harvey, LA and a member of the Marrero Senior Citizens Group. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Notre Dame Hospice and Wynhoven Health Care Center for their love and care given to Emily. Relatives and friends, also members of the Marrero Senior Citizens Group are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
