Emma Rita Camardelle Mcevers

Emma Rita Camardelle McEvers, a native of Westwego, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at the age of 80. Companion of the late James Everett. Daughter of the late Alice Orgeron Camardelle and John Irvin Camardelle. Loving and devoted mother of Norman McEvers (Wife Karen) and Gary McEvers (Wife Mary). Grandmother of Norman McEvers, Jr. and Courtney McEvers. Loving Mauzie of her Great Grandchildren, Elise McEvers, Aiden Bond and Emree Bond. Sister of Alvin Camardelle, Jo Ann Pierce and the late Willie Mae Plaisance. Emma is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was a very active parishioner of Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church in Marrero, LA. A Visitation will be held at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church, Ames Blvd. and Barataria Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 10:30AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church on Wednesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA in charge of arrangements.
