Emmett Paul Barrios

Emmett Paul Barrios entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Marie Amedee Barrios. Son of the late Robert Barrios and Laura Landry Barrios. Father of Mary Dell Enriquez (Jose) and Laura Robichaux (Philip Jr.). Grandfather of Shelby Pierce (Debbie), David Pierce (Maria), Philip Robichaux III (Tanya), Phyllis Molaison (Troy) and Shannon Gros (Albert). Step Grandfather of Jayne Magee (Todd) and Christopher Holmes (Shelly). Also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Brother of Hazel B. Mire and the late Clifford Barrios, Whitney Barrios, Inez B. Amedee, Dolores B. Porrier and Hatti Matherne. Mr. Barrios is a former employee of Orleans Material and Equipment Company. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Mr. Barrios’ home caregiver, Darlene and to all caregivers; also to the staff of Billdora Senior Care Center in Tylertown, Mississippi. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 9AM until 11AM.
