Eric Joseph Lamy

Eric Joseph Lamy Sr. age 75 entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 10, 2015. He was a native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, a former resident of Brooklyn, New York and presently residing in Gretna, LA. He was employed with Brothers Garage in Manhattan, New York and retired after 37 years. Beloved husband of Ghislaine Lamy. Father of Eric Lamy Jr. and Rudy Lamy Sr. Step Father to Pierre Janvier Sr. Son of the late Mr. Ernest Lamy and Mrs. Cleria Lamy (born Cleria Lazarre). Brother of Mrs. Marie-Claude Clerie, beloved Mrs. Giselle Gele, beloved Mrs. Kathleen Lucien, Mrs. Guerda Ewald, Ms. Marie Carmel Lamy, Mrs. Georgia Jacques, Mr. Frantz Lamy and Mrs. Yanick Piard. Survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Families and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Avenue, Gretna, LA on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Father Michael Nguyen Officiating.
